The Incredibles
This animation has good techniques is digital animation and was created
by Pixar animation studios. This animation is about a family discovering their
super powers. My evaluation of the animation technique is the way the
characters have been created and way the director uses different colors to
represent the characters and using different locations. The story is about a
family becoming superhero. The Toughest
thing about being a super hero is tries to live a normal life. The effects and expressions were very
realistic which made it more interesting to watch. I liked how the characters have
been created. The Incredibles follows the adventures of a family of
former superheroes rediscovering the true source of their powers-in one
another.
Tom & Jerry
This animation is about a cartoon animation that is about Tom and
Jerry which is a cat and mouse and they don't get on they are always
fighting each other. the technique used in this cartoon was very accurate.
The cartoon is more realistic it had very good sound effects in the
background goes with the characters movements.
Evaluation/technique - Tom &
jerry is a traditional style animation. The story is told by the characters
actions and movement. The characters are controlled by stop motion animation. There are different types of stop motion
e.g. puppet animation, object animation. The stop motion has a good technique
for bringing objects on screen. Tom and Jerry is a cartoon that
is enjoyed and watched by different age group.
Monsters University
The animation I will be researching is called monsters university the animation is created by Walt Disney Monster University is a 2013 American 3D computer
animated comedy film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and Walt Disney
Pictures. The characters Sulley the big
blue monster and Mike was the little green monster who inspired to becoming
into something of a greatness but had an obstacle which was Sulley. Although
Mike was intelligent, he was physically incapable of achieving that dream
because he didn't seem convinced.
The way
the animators presented the film was interesting because in normal audience's
mind and in this case children who sometimes don't pay attention to the wider
understanding and message of the film will fail to realise that, the animator
made it seem that since Mike was small and not scary, he would fail to
accomplish what he set for himself but since Sulley is massive and scary then
he would achieve what he set for himself.
Sulley had to overcome his pride. Throughout the film, Sulley was
portrayed as a monster who had all the quality a monster would need in the
animation such as confidence, high self esteem and scary and most of all he was
from a family that were known to be great when it came to scaring celebrity
endorsement, he had too much pride which was a good thing that people loved
about him.
Evaluation/Techniques – The

technique is digital animation. It had very good features and effects. The
characters should be more realistic. The way how the director uses colors to
represent the characters. The directors and producers of the film create the characters
real monsters.
